Gerda Carmichael

After retiring from teaching art in the Birmingham School System, Gerda was active in many different crafts, such as spinning, weaving, silversmithing, glass blowing, and pottery. Recently, she has been busy with stained glass mosaics and making quilts and afghans for charities all over the world. She has made and shipped over a thousand of these charitable gifts. Proceeds from the glass mosaics go to Doctors Without Borders.
