MJ Whitt

MJ describes herself as an artist based on quoting Merriam-Webster.com 2022’s definition, “a person who creates art, such as painting, sculpture, music, or writing, using conscious skill and creative imagination.” She has been an artist for as long as she could pick up a pencil.

She received art training at the University of Tennessee and has worked as a commercial artist, glass artist, painter, and sculptor for over 30 years. She was also an attorney during many of those years, which helped her feed her passion for art and gave her life lessons unfound to her anywhere else. She believes our planet is a magical place, full of inspiration and wonder. Her work focuses on the beauty around us, be it the sunrise welcoming the world to a new day, a songbird singing a happy song, a child discovering new wonders, or the changing seasons celebrating the circle of life. She hopes her art makes you as happy as it makes him, and if it does, she invites you to own the magic along with him.
